Singer-songwriter Phil Ireland drops their highly-anticipated new single ‘Coming Alive’ – released 3rd May.
Showcasing his innovative pop, rock, and soul stylings, he hopes this new offering will bring his dynamic take

Following the success of his debut album, ‘Ruling Days,’ Ireland is excited to introduce ‘Coming Alive’ to a
broader audience. With a long musical history, with stints in successful rock groups Exit State and Breaking
Waves, Ireland’s solo music is vibrant – with both a revived energism and learned lyrical sensibility. ‘Coming
Alive’ exemplifies this sound, inspired by Ireland’s need to connect with others, he invites listeners to interpret
the song in their unique way, saying: ‘I know what it means to me, but I want the listener to interpret how they
want’.
Phil Ireland crafts an opulent electric soundscape of textured guitar lines and driving synthesisers, that sit
behind characteristically contemplative vocals. As a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer,

When it comes to the creative process behind his new music, Ireland’s inspiration strikes unexpectedly.
Reflecting on his latest single, he shares, “Some songs fall out of the sky, and this one did. I sat in my studio
with my bass and wrote the lyrics, bass, and guitar in about 10 minutes. I showed it to my bandmates and, as
a group, we fell in love with it.”
With a career spanning over fifteen years, this mediation between cultivated artistry and a desire to constantly
