Independent singer-songwriter, Simon Jacobs, is poised to release his much-anticipated new single, ‘Face The Music’, on 24th May – in anticipation of his new 12-track album ‘Strange Alien’. His music, characterised by a unique fusion of pop elements and incisive lyrics, seeks to smartly redefine the genre.

A characteristic humour is key to his work, Jacobs’ bewildering listeners with tracks about finding an alien living with him, on the title track (‘Strange Alien’); describing the true story of a blind date that happened on a Monday morning (‘I Breathe With You’); deciding that it’s high time he stopped having an imaginary friend (‘My Imaginary Friend’), or falsely blaming hayfever for the fact the he’s constantly bursting into tears (‘Hayfever’).
