Solo punk artist brx (pronounced Brooks) is excited to announce the release of his latest single, “Shout,” set to drop on July 5th.

A staunch advocate of punk ideology, brx has always embraced the DIY approach to his music. While home-recorded lo-fi demos remain a significant part of his unique sound, recent collaborations with Crude Media and other studios have opened new doors, leading to a more refined sound without compromising his punk roots. His upcoming single, “Shout,” is the epitome of this style – a passionate blend of punk, power pop, and pop punk. 

Originally written for a previous band and quickly becoming a fan favorite at open mics and shows, the song’s clever lyricism easily resonates with listeners. Speaking on the track brx said: ‘Shout is about passion and simply means standing up for your beliefs, especially in relationships’. 

Known for his unique vocals and hard-hitting instrumentals, brx performs solo at various venues throughout Kansas, from dive bars and basements to home venues.
