The Outlaw Orchestra – Southampton’s own rock-genre-spanning trio, perhaps most well known for their stage-craft and ‘bringing the party’ to many a festival stage – have been going down a proverbial storm with their sincere craftsmanship and lyrical ingenuity throughout this 11-track ensemble. ‘Rocker’ Dave Roux is, as always, front and centre with vocals and guitar, ‘Banjo’ Pete Briley proves he is anything but a one-instrument musician across a plethora of tools at his disposal, and Ryan ‘Thunder’-Smith certainly provides the percussive waves that punctuate this feast for the ears.

Following the sublime “Makin Tracks” (their 2nd studio album) – the influence of Rogue Studios Wembley is undeniable in the tracks for “La Familia” and shines through with a distinctly heavier feel, whilst retaining every ounce of what fans of The Outlaw Orchestra have come to love and expect – roguish charm, razor sharp wit, intelligent lyrics and simply stunning musicianship.
