Pylon Poets are a three-piece alternative rock band, who intrinsically pair soundscapes of the noughties
with perhaps more than a soupcon of synth rock from the 80’s – delivering a tantalisingly unique sound in
today’s musical landscape.

Echoes of 80’s luminaries Depeche Mode and also The Human League (albeit the comparison may be a
little on-the-nose following a simply exquisite cover of the brilliant ‘Don’t You Want Me’), as well as the
likes of Placebo, The Killers and stadium-giants – Muse highlight the undeniable talent and also the
androgenous nature of the music which would be just at home in the top 40 as it would on any rock radio
station.

The inspiration for the new single comes from the need of feeling loved and craving a physical connection
in an ever-increasing digital world. Recorded at Mill Farm Music (Bradford Abbas, Sherborne) in June
2024 with recording and production overseen by Tom Jobling.
“Human Touch” was the final track written for Pylon Poets’ latest studio session, the culmination of a
week-long stint that included putting together another 4 tracks as they work towards the album release in
2025, have been steadily building quite the reputation.
