December 13th, 2024 – a significant milestone in Trouble County’s career as they are set to release their highly anticipated debut album “Blacken the Sky” on all digital platforms, as a precursor to the physical album launch to follow in Q1 2025.
Formed in 2015 and known for their hard-rock edge throughout the New Wave of Classical Rock scene – Trouble County have quickly gained a reputation for their electrifying live performances and distinctive sound.
Comprising members Julian ‘Joolz’ Holman (Vocals/guitar), Mark ‘Marky Mark’ Penton (Bass guitar /Bvox) and Spencer ‘JD’ Watson (Drums/Bvox), the band have built a loyal fan base through touring their celebrated EP ‘Debt We Pay.’

As debut album’s go – this one has been a long time in the making – “We were preparing to release an album in 2020 but then the pandemic hit and the industry ground to a halt. Signing with the label Epictronic gave us the chance to re-record, add some new tracks and to produce the album ourselves making it sound exactly as we wanted. We are totally stoked with the result and having poured our heart and soul into these songs and can’t wait for everyone to hear them!”

But the burning question perhaps… if they had to pick just one song from this release… “That depends, for playing live it would probably be 12 gauge as it’s so much fun to play with its twists and turns, plus it always goes down a storm with the audience. For a song to listen to it would probably be Rapturous Me, it
has a bit of everything!”
“Blacken The Sky” is the titular track and follows hot on the heels of recent releases “Awake” and “Gotta Try”. These choices in singles alone emphasise the variety that can be found within an album jam-packed with punchy riƯs and surprises galore.

“We are super proud of this Album and how it sounds and hope that anyone who comes across it will give a listen, no 2 tracks sound the same so there is something in there for everyone.
If you like what you’re hearing we’d love to hear from you so please look us up on social media, drop us a like or comment, add us to your playlist or join the Trouble County Collective to keep up to date with what’s going on in our world.”
