LOVELY COLOURS NEW SINGLE “NO ANGEL” OUT NOW 2025 SUMMER SHOWS ANNOUNCED

SEATTLE – Rising alt-rock outfit Lovely Colours return with their bold new single, “No Angel,” a dark, sultry dive into the heat of unchecked desire.

Filled with tension, wrapped in moody guitars and exploding into a massive chorus, “No Angel” captures the intoxicating pull of lust. The track marks the band’s unfiltered release yet – an anthem of passion, desire and self-reckoning that dives deep into the grey areas of identity and relationships.

‘No Angel’ is about craving someone you know might not be good for you, but you’re going for it anyway,” said vocalist and guitarist Devin Damitio. “It’s that magnetic, reckless energy you feel in your body right before your mind catches up.”

“No Angel” peels back a more sensual, rock-influenced layer of Lovely Colours. Following the buzz of their 2024 debut album Dancing With a Ghost, which earned airplay on Seattle’s 107.7 The End, this release signals a deeper, more daring evolution of the band’s sound, balancing alt-rock hooks with a raw emotional edge. “No Angel” will appear on Lovely Colours’ forthcoming EP, due out later this year.

About Lovely Colours:

Lovely Colours is an alternative rock band based in Seattle, Washington, known for crafting emotionally resonant songs wrapped in shimmering melodies and driving rhythms. The band was formed by Devin Damitio (vocals, guitar) and James Rosales (bass), longtime friends from Juneau, Alaska, who relocated to Seattle to pursue their musical ambitions. There, they connected with guitarist Patrick May and drummer Steven Bingham, rounding out the quartet.

Drawing from their roots in the Pacific Northwest, Lovely Colours combines dynamic instrumentation with introspective lyricism, delivering a sound that sits comfortably between lush indie pop and gritty rock. Their music explores themes of love, growth, and self-discovery, all while channeling the expansive, moody landscapes they came from.

Since their formation, Lovely Colours has made an undeniable impact on the Seattle music scene—selling out the legendary High Dive, opening up for Matchbox Twenty, and earning airplay on the influential radio station, 107.7 The End. With an unmistakable chemistry and an electric live presence, Lovely Colours continues to captivate audiences and carve out their place in the alternative rock landscape.
