‘VALLEY OF DISTRACTION’ PRODUCED BY JIM SCLAVUNOS (NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS) – RELEASED 31ST OCTOBER ANNOUNCE VALLEY OF DISTRACTION UK ALBUM TOUR FOR SPRING 2026

‘Negroni, Baloney’ is the brand new single from cult favourites Tankus, out now via 5dB Records. It marks the second offering from their hotly anticipated album ‘Valley of Distraction’, due for release on 31st October 2025.

A raucous, melodically charged slice of rock’n’roll, ‘Negroni, Baloney’ is Tankus at their most playful. It’s a rambling ode to misadventure and muddling through, spinning weary frustration into something strangely joyful. The band recently captured this raw live spirit in a brilliant filmed performance of the track, showcasing their trademark onstage chemistry and unfiltered intensity.

Frontman Jaz Delorean says:

“While sitting around a fire, with numerous dogs of different shapes and sizes running amok, we penned this riotous paean to freedom. Freedom is never free, but it is always delicious, and your own freedom or the freedom of people around you should never be taken for granted or given up fighting for. Oh, and being in love is great, most of the time”.

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Valley of Distraction’, produced by Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman) and due 31st October 2025. Recorded entirely live in the studio, the album captures the raw power and stage presence that has made Tankus a cult live act across Europe.

Sclavunos says: ‘Working with Tankus was an absolute pleasure, especially recording the entire band live in the studio. The level of musicianship in the band is phenomenal…Tankus is the complete package!’

Following a busy 2025 tour schedule, including a special London show at the Electric Ballroom with Gogol Bordello, Tankus have also announced a new run of UK headline shows for March 2026.
