Cérémonie share “Cavale”, first single from debut album L’aube dissout les monstres

Paris-based duo Cérémonie return with “Cavale”, the lead single from their debut album L’aube dissout les monstres, out January 9, 2026 via Dutch label Enfant Terrible. A duet of voices draped in moody, cinematographic textures, the track balances intimacy and distance, capturing love’s fleeting intensity. Its video mirrors the song’s mood, exploring the impossible wish to undo time before affection fades.

Merging post-punk-influenced romanticism, French chanson, and dark synth-pop, Cérémonie have spent years honing their distinctive sound: twin vocals, icy synths, reverberated guitars, and rhythms that hover between dream and memory. Following 2023’s EP Orion, which drew praise for its “hypnotic, melancholic, and pop” qualities, the duo produced the full-length themselves, with mixing and mastering by Jonas Wehner (Warm Graves / Fuzz Club Records) at Leipzig’s Haunted Haus Studios.

Cavale” is the first of three singles leading up to the album. For now, Cérémonie let it linger as a reminder: love is fragile, and every dawn eventually dissolves what the night awakens.
