Despite his clandestine beginnings, Moda’s debut album under Thrive Music/Virgin, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, marked his official entry into the music scene. Accompanied by a captivating short film, the album’s release showcased Moda’s musical prowess and laid the foundation for his burgeoning career.

What set the Modapit project apart was its innovative use of visual storytelling. Moda recognized early on the power of visual narratives to forge deep connections with audiences, and his commitment to producing high-quality video content helped propel his YouTube channel to new heights, fostering a dedicated fan base.

Moda’s rise to prominence was further accelerated by securing representation from booking agents at Wasserman, leading to performances at major festivals like EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, Freaky Deaky TX, and Imagine Music Festival. These appearances provided Moda with a platform to showcase his music to thousands of fans and marked the beginning of his meteoric ascent in the music industry.

A pivotal moment in Moda’s journey came with his first international show in Montreal, solidifying his presence in the global music scene. The culmination of the year was a spectacular New Year’s show at Countdown NYE in San Bernadino, CA, where Moda performed in front of over 10,000 people, cementing his status as a rising star in electronic music.

Looking ahead, Moda has exciting plans for the Modapit project. While concrete dates are yet to be announced, a unique live experience beyond traditional DJing is in the works. Additionally, Modapit recently signed a deal with Create Music Group to launch an independent label called “Obsess Label,” aiming to curate a new wave of electronic music bridging the gap between mainstream and underground genres. The forthcoming release, entitled “Walk,” is scheduled for May 7th.
