South of the UKs antidote: <a href="https://linktr.ee/twinskeletons?utm_source=linktree_profile_shareTWIN SKELETONS are ready to show what their bones are truly made of. With their all or nothing approach to putting on a show and their undeniable writing talent, they are looking to make a significant impact within the industry by revealing what’s really beneath the bones by bringing the alternative scene back to the forefront of Festival line ups.Established in 2023 after Brother/Sister duo James & Phoebe sought out to find the perfect band. After working with Joe & Fred for 2 years prior to the band they decided to bring their huge Bellamy/Kerr style riffs and overall energy to the four piece skeleton rock band which has captivated audiences and sold out venues up and down the country since. Their sonically diverse music provides an intriguing and addictive new sound to the current alternative rock scene as it serves a large range from South Arcade singalong anthems to Paramore pop punk verses and Bring Me The Horizon metal breakdowns to suit a varied audience. Since working with their producer they have found a deep connection with the up and coming bands in the Alt scene such as Tigercub, Knife Bride and South Arcade, While also continuing to be inspired by bands artists such as Royal Blood, Spiritbox and Sleep Token because they provide a whole live experience with their shows and go further than just playing the songs. Twin Skeletons have been progressively increasing the experience at their shows including props, stage design and synced lighting rigs and will continue to think of new ways to include the audience in the live shows.
USELESS is Dark Brooding Rock, it’s stripped back and raw but still with flavours of Bubble Gum Doom Eternal. It’s gut wrenchingly lyrically but the guitars have steel ropes sounding moments and soaring leads, the vocals are the biggest they’ve ever been and the rhythm section keeps tight to the pocket. A mix of influence from Tigercub, Loathe & Spiritbox that is made perfect for big stages and festivals across UK & EU. The song has become a fan favourite over the years after being promoted on many support tours and festivals, it has also just started extensive promotion through TikTok, Reels & Shorts building hype ready for the song to release.
While Useless was being written Phoebe was battling with her self-worth, feeling quite emotionally burnt out and struggling under the pressure of keeping up good relationships. The song explores the feeling of being taken for granted and how regret sometimes only comes after consequence. she sings about going through phases of faking effort towards people which is inevitably unsustainable and unethical, attempting to fix surface level problems will never truly resolve a deeper routed lack of caring or desire. These ingrained problems are usually masked by smaller things that appear irreparable. Writing Useless was a great outlet for Phoebe, although time has a way of softening things and making them feel better, the question is are they worth waiting for?
After it going down so well on tours and festivals their manager and many fans have begged for it to be released, the band have spent many years perfecting it and tweaking it which meant that a bare bones version of this song has been played since March 2024, building hype and an itch for it to be released in its final form. The song takes a less aggressive and fast paced route to the previous singles so they’re hoping that this can really connect to the fans the same way it’s been connecting to them live. The band returned to work with the same producer they worked with on all their previous and was able to utilise a lot of fun studio techniques such as recording the drum shells and cymbals separately, creating Doom Eternal style synths, multi layering vocals and transposing guitars a whole octave down.
They have been backed by big name stations such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing with ‘TRACK OF THE WEEK’ &‘SOUND OF THE WEEKEND’, receiving a load of high scoring reviews, editorials & interviews while also making it onto editorial playlists. All of this Success carried its own throughout the headline and support Tours including KID KAPICHI, SNAKES EYES, BEX, CRASHFACE & MARISA AND THE MOTHS and BBC inviting them out to play The View stage at Boardmasters Festival 2026 on the same day as Kasabian. They have recently made partnerships with both Collision Drumsticks and Bleakworld clothing too. The band is expecting HUGE press and Radio Play for this song due to the foundations the band has built already and we’d love for you to be a part of it too.
