DUBLIN, IRELAND — Following the international waves made by his recent nostalgic dancefloor reimagining of “Your Loving Arms,” Clondalkin’s own DJ, producer, and voice-over artist Philip Galvin is shifting gears into darker sonic territory with his highly anticipated upcoming single, “Into The Night.”
Set for release just in time for the Halloween season, “Into The Night” marks a hypnotic evolution in Galvin’s musical journey. While remaining firmly rooted in his signature Tropical House sound as his core musical identity, this track shows his exceptional versatility by submerging listeners into an immersive, late-night Deep House landscape infused with moody Latin, tribal, and tech elements. Written and produced completely from scratch by Galvin on a blank canvas, the single captures a thrilling, cinematic sense of suspense designed specifically for club dancefloors and late-night airwaves.
The track’s distinctive, haunting energy is driven by ideas pulled directly from Galvin’s newly completed horror-thriller fiction book. Bringing his professional broadcasting and voice-over background—which stretches back to 1997—directly into the mix, Galvin introduces a deeply personal, eerie layer to the arrangement instead of relying on samples. Throughout the track, his own voice emerges from the shadows in echoing, whispered intervals, uttering the hypnotic phrases: “As we go into the night” and a suspenseful, warning “Watching you!”
“The response to ‘Your Loving Arms’ from local listeners and international press, including The Manhattan Herald in New York, was incredible,” says Galvin. “With ‘Into The Night,’ I wanted to break the rules, push my creative boundaries, and explore a moodier, more atmospheric side of electronic music. Writing this track while working on my horror novel allowed me to create a unique, otherworldly tension on the dancefloor—bringing an unexpected, fresh energy to my listeners.”
The release is set to be Galvin’s most ambitious multimedia project yet, launching alongside a high-concept, fully animated cyberpunk music video. The animation features Galvin as the main character navigating a dark landscape, visually anchored by a sleek cyborg half-mask that mirrors his own real-life green eyes, alongside his signature real-world asymmetrical color-block geometric polo shirt for creative continuity.
As a qualified radio DJ certified in advanced broadcasting with 5 years of live on-air history at WDAR 96FM, Galvin continues to establish himself as a highly versatile, rule-breaking force in the Irish electronic scene. “Into The Night” promises to captivate house music purists and casual late-night listeners alike before Galvin rolls out a massive slate of early 2027 projects.
