Madison Shines In New Single ‘YOUR GIRL’

September 3, 2026 Robert Smith

If you’ve been waiting for an alt-pop track that actually earns its big chorus, ‘Your Girl’ is worth your time. MADISON’s new single, out 14th August, pairs euphoric, romantic energy with the kind of cinematic production that makes it feel bigger than a standard pop release.

You’ll notice straight away that this isn’t quite the Madison of her earlier catalogue. Where previous songs leaned into darker, more dramatic themes, this one is unmistakably lighter, built around the thrill of a connection that makes you feel more like yourself rather than less. It’s a subtle but meaningful shift for an artist whose reference points include Lady Gaga, Dagny and Ava Max.

Behind the scenes, the track has a longer history than you’d expect. It began as a home studio demo before Madison brought it to Swedish producer Oliver Lundström, whose credits include James Arthur, Carly Rae Jepsen and TWICE. Together they tested a handful of different directions before landing on the finished version, recording vocals in Stockholm and finishing production across two countries.

What you’re left with is a track that manages to be both intimate and expansive at once, driven by stacked vocal harmonies, orchestral strings and a production choice that never loses sight of the pop hook at its centre. For an artist already building an international profile through sync work and Spotify Editorial support, ‘Your Girl’ is a confident step towards whatever comes next, including her upcoming debut EP.
