SHAUN FARRUGIA RELEASES HEARTFELT NEW SINGLE ‘STILL FALLING’

CONFIRMED TO SUPPORT LEWIS CAPALDI

Malta-born ar;st and songwriter Shaun Farrugia is steadily emerging as one of popand dance music’s most in-demand collaborators, wri;ng and performing alongside global stars including MarFn Garrix, Bono, The Script, Sigala and Audien. Now, aDer building a reputa;on behind some of the world biggest records and lending his voice to interna;onal dance anthems, Shaun returns with his most personal solo release yet.

His hearGelt new single, ‘SFll Falling’, is a deeply personal love song inspired by one of the happiest moments of his life. WriIen just three days aDer proposing to his fiancée, the track captures the feeling of realising that, even aDer seven years together, he is s;ll falling in love with her every single day. The single con;nues Shaun’s evolu;on as a solo ar;st, pairing storytelling with the soaring, anthemic songwri;ng that has become his signature. 

Shaun says: “I’m so excited to be releasing new music again. ‘S9ll Falling’ is a really personal song about that feeling of constantly falling for the person you love. It’s about having someone by your side who you can always count on, to experience all of life’s highs and low with. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

The release follows Shaun’s recent single ‘Heading Home’ which received support from BBC Radio 2 and marked a significant new chapter in his journey as a solo ar;st. The momentum behind the single has con;nued to build well beyond its ini;al release. Rather than peaking at launch, the track has steadily gathered pace through sustained fan support and streaming discovery, reaching its biggest week to date and con;nuing to climb. The growing success of ‘Heading Home’ has helped drive Shaun’s audience to new heights, with his Spo;fy monthly listeners now surpassing 600,000 – a reflec;on of the rapidly expanding global fanbase connec;ng with his hearGelt songwri;ng.

Alongside his own releases, Shaun con;nues to make his mark as one of the industry’s most sought-aDer songwriters and collaborators, most recently featuring Audien’s latest single ‘High Hopes’.

Shaun’s story has always been rooted in songwri;ng. Long before stepping into the spotlight as a vocalist, he was shaping records for some of the biggest names in music. Among his early breakthroughs was cowri;ng ‘Hot Summer Nights’ for The Script, before going on to collaborate with Bono and MarFn Garrix on ‘Angels For Each Other’, as well as contribu;ng to Sigala’s ‘Melody’. He also featured as the vocalist on MarFn Garrix and DubVision’s ‘Starlight (Keep Me Afloat)’, introducing his voice to a global audience.

Alongside his wri;ng and recording career, Shaun has built a reputa;on as a cap;va;ng live performer, suppor;ng interna;onal ar;sts including Robbie Williams, Sam Smith, Becky Hill, French Montana and Marshmello. This summer, it has been confirmed that he will support Lewis Capaldi at Malta’s Summerdaze FesFval on 11th August, adding another milestone to his rapidly growing live career.

Raised in Malta, Shaun’s path to success has been anything but conven;onal. Once told by a teacher he was more likely to become a real estate agent than a musician, he briefly pursued that path before deciding to bet everything on music. Moving to London with no industry connec;ons, he built his career through persistence, determina;on and an unwavering belief in his craD, crea;ng opportuni;es that would eventually see him collaborate with some of the biggest names in contemporary music.
