South African Teen Giselle Niemand Set to Make Her Mark at Paris Fashion Week
Johannesburg, South Africa – Sixteen-year-old South African model and multi-talented performer Giselle Niemand is heading to one of the world’s most recognised fashion capitals as she prepares to walk at Paris Fashion Week this October.
Giselle will be part of the Africa In Paris showcase, presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris, taking place from 2 to 4 October 2026.
The teenager will represent South African fashion house New Romantics Couture, joining models showcasing African fashion in Paris.
The opportunity follows New Romantics Couture’s success at Africa Fashion Week last year, where the fashion house secured the opportunity to showcase its work internationally.
For Giselle, the Paris appearance is another international milestone in a career that already spans music, modelling, acting and dance.
She has previously walked at New York Fashion Week and performed internationally, including appearances in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
Her journey to Paris will begin in Germany, where she is scheduled to travel next week before continuing to France.
Paris, however, will only be the beginning of an exceptionally busy October.

On 5 October, Giselle is scheduled to leave France for Seoul, South Korea, where she will perform at the 2026 Itaewon World Music Spirit Festival.
She was invited to the festival’s final round after organisers reviewed her submitted performance material during preliminary screening.
The teenager is expected to perform alongside artists from different countries, with the festival also providing accommodation, sightseeing and a VIP package featuring Korean beauty and food products. Her performance is expected to be filmed for international distribution.
With Paris Fashion Week now firmly on her upcoming itinerary, Giselle is preparing to take another step onto the international fashion stage while continuing to develop her career across several creative disciplines.
