From Luke Combs to Dolly Parton: Country in the Country Celebrates Country Music’s Biggest Sounds
Country music brings together generations of artists, from modern chart favourites to legendary performers whose songs continue to shape the genre. That musical journey will take centre stage at Country in the Country, returning to Ely on 28 May 2027.
The event’s five-act programme will celebrate some of country music’s most recognisable names. Its headline attraction is One Night In Nashville featuring Maria Jordan, bringing a Nashville-inspired live performance to the Cambridgeshire event.
The programme will also feature tribute performances dedicated to Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton.
Each name represents a different part of country music’s appeal. Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen reflect the modern sound connecting with today’s country audiences. Shania Twain helped bring country and pop together for a global audience, while Dolly Parton’s songwriting and unmistakable style remain an enduring part of country music history.
Bringing these influences together gives the event a broad musical identity. Fans can look forward to a programme celebrating contemporary country, country-pop favourites and timeless songs.
Country in the Country will also create an opportunity for audiences to enjoy the social side of the genre. Country line dancing, saloon bars and American-style food will complement the live performances. Visitors can also try the rodeo bull and take part in American-themed games.
The event returns following its previous edition, with ticket demand already showing strong interest. Both Super Early Bird and Early Bird allocations have sold out. Standard, VIP and children’s tickets are now available.
Country in the Country takes place on Friday 28 May 2027 at Ely Rugby Club / EOSA in Ely. Gates open at 5pm.
